Tommy grew up in Colorado, and from the moment he arrived, the mountains had him. The natural world wasn't something he observed from a distance, it was something he threw himself into and the camera became the tool that made sense of it all. A way to chase down the raw, wild moments that most people never get close to, and make sure they weren't forgotten.

That instinct took him everywhere. Over nearly 15 years, Tommy has told stories on all seven continents — diving with fur seals in Antarctica, following world-class runners to the edge of their limits, and uncovering dinosaur bones in the deserts of Niger. His work spans national TV spots, branded content, and feature-length films, earning nearly two dozen film festival awards and a pair of Tellys along the way.
